Mobilia harbour is the main harbour in Kangasala and it’s situated on the coastline of lake Längelmävesi, by the ship route. The boat dock is managed and maintained by Kesäpäivä yacht club. There are a few guest berths for visitors on the end of the land dock. Next to the guest berths, there is a septic tank pumping hose as well as drinking water and rinsing water hoses (all separate hoses!). Next to the nearby parking lot, there is a toilet and a large waste bin. In the harbour area, it’s possible to launch and lift your boat.
There are also many services right next to the Mobilia harbour area. Automobile and road museum Mobilia with its café & lunch services and traffic park, a playground, a beach and a summer theatre are the harbour’s nearest neighbours. Within a 300m walking distance, there is a Kisaranta dance hall and if you walk approximately 500m, you’ll get to the Pohtiolampi recreation area, including Pohtiolampi Osprey Center and Pohtiolampi salmon pond . From Mobilia, you’ll also have straight access to Tampere by bus via Kangasala city center (line 40B).
